We have been meaning to do a do-it-yourself flower garland (haar, jai mala, gajra) post for a while now, so it's almost serendipitous that project wedding posted an easy way to make one.
All you need is:
- 10 -15 stems of fully opened flower blossoms
- Fishline
- A Needle
- Scissors
- A spray bottle with water
- Ziplock bag
- Ribbon (around 2 yards)
Check out the full post for all the directions! We know many people make these as their own, do you have your own particular method of making them or any particular flowers you use? We'd love to hear.
Also, take a look at some of our favorite flower garlands from the weddings we've shown.
