A Big Apple Wedding: Rabia and Omar Barat

Here's part two of our first full length real wedding. It took place at Gotham Hall in Manhattan and Lotus and Leaf really outdid themselves with the decor! This event shows how much of a difference a venue can make on the overall feel of the night. Don't you think this room would be perfect even without any embellishments?

The dramatic branches on the stage really draw the eye without being overpowering. What a fresh and new take on stage decorations.

We love the muted colors of the arrangement on the escort table. These colors are perfect for someone who wants an understated look. Notice that the cake complemented the color scheme by only highlighting the green.

The monograms in Urdu/Arabic really play up the high ceilings.

We like how the two different lenghths of necklaces are used, the bride did a great job mixing styles. Especially loving the jasmine flowers.

Look at the intensity of the jhoota chupai!

And here comes the Rukhsati/Vidai at the end. It's another one of our favorite rasams.
