More than an Invitation

Anna Bond of Rifle Design has certainly been making the blog rounds this past year and it's easy to see why. Not only do you get a hand illustrated invitation, but you also get her. It's a very personal experience where you get to work with her directly to create a look that reflects your wedding. Her typical process involves hand-drawn lettering which is scanned and colored on a computer and then sent to a printer to be silk-screened.

Above are two of our personal favorite invitation suites she has done. The yellow invitation was inspired by fairy tale typography. The navy invitation on the right was inspired by the venue of the wedding - Gramercy Park Hotel in Manhattan - and the bride's love of astrology. The result is a refined playfulness.

Yet ANOTHER confession: We love the Gramercy Park Hotel. It's an amazing location for a wedding.
