Southern Charm: Megan and Mihir Part I

Today we're sharing a real southern wedding all the way from Charleston, South Carolina. Let's start off with the hindu ceremony - photographed by the ever so talented photographers from A Bryan Photo.

We love the rich turquoise and orange combination - so summer appropriate. There are so many delightful little surprises in this wedding - exotic fruit mixed in with lace-wrapped cupcakes, comfy wicker furniture scattered under a giant blue tent and those big explosive haars - we die. Seriously.

We love the sheer champagne colored dupatta - it lightens up the whole look.

Looks like such a fun barat!

The mandap is so modern and fresh.

Wicker chandeliers on the ceiling and wicker baskets for programs. Digging the continuity.

Doesn't the sitar player give off such a rock star vibe?

Yes, these are definitely the biggest, juiciest haars we've ever seen.

Oh the food presentation, so lovely. Sumptuous figs and savory kebabs (we think) - its all so decadent. The orangina bottles with straws remind us of this soda bar idea. And we think we've officially moved on from obsessing over pears to figs.

We have so much more to share from this gorgeous wedding. And we want to give a shout out to our reader Priya, for bringing it to our attention.
